Helping women break free from survival mode
Many women arrive here feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and constantly “on.”
They are capable, responsible, and holding everything together — yet internally their nervous systems rarely feel calm.
For a long time, I believed this was simply how life was supposed to feel.
It turns out it wasn’t.
My story
For much of my life, my nervous system rarely switched off.
I was diagnosed with anxiety as a teenager, and for years I assumed that was simply part of who I was.
Like many women, I became very good at coping.

I worked, raised a family, managed responsibilities, and continued showing up for everything that needed to be done. From the outside, life looked perfectly manageable.
But internally my nervous system was always alert.
There was always something to think about, organise, remember, or solve.
Looking back now, I can see that my nervous system had simply been under pressure for years.
Like many women, I was carrying invisible responsibilities, constant decision-making, and the emotional weight of keeping life running smoothly.
My body was doing exactly what it was designed to do — staying alert in order to cope.
The turning point
Eventually I began to realise that anxiety was not the root problem.
My nervous system had simply been doing its job — trying to protect me in a world that constantly demanded more.
Instead of pushing myself harder, I began learning how to reduce the pressure my system had been carrying.
Gradually things began to shift.
My mind became quieter.
My energy stabilised.
I was able to rest properly again.
Today I don’t see myself as an anxious person.
I see someone whose nervous system simply needed the right conditions to feel safe again.
That understanding completely changed how I approach health, wellbeing, and stress — and it is now the foundation of the work I do with other women.

My approach
Much of modern health advice focuses on discipline, productivity, and trying harder.
But when the nervous system is stuck in survival mode, pushing harder often makes things worse.
My work focuses first on helping the nervous system feel safe again.
Instead of starting with strict routines or unrealistic lifestyle changes, we focus on:
When the body begins to feel safe again, meaningful change becomes possible.

Professional background
Alongside my personal experience, my work is informed by professional training and public health experience.
I am a PCI (NHS) qualified trauma-informed transformational health coach, with additional experience in public health and community wellbeing.
My work combines insights from:
I believe health guidance should be practical, compassionate, and grounded in real life.
Community and connection
Although my work supports women internationally, I am based in Bath and North East Somerset (BANES) where I also host community wellbeing events.
These include:
Sometimes the most powerful step is simply realising you’re not the only one feeling this way.
