Give yourself an afternoon with nothing to do but paint.

Join Bath-based artist Jo Slade for a relaxed, beautifully taught acrylic workshop in the barn. Jo trained in Fine Art at Brighton and is known for her vibrant, impressionist paintings of landscapes, starry skies and florals. Her work is all about atmospheric light and colour, and she’ll bring that same warmth to the session.

You’ll paint a botanical still life, with Jo guiding you step by step. No experience needed, and complete beginners are very welcome. It’s about enjoying the process rather than making something perfect.

There are three hours of painting time, with a break in the middle for tea, cake and a chance to chat with the other women. All materials are provided, so you only need to turn up.

This afternoon is an invitation to step away from the everyday rush, put your phone down and spend a few hours on yourself.
